Geocaching adds a whole new level of engagement to adaptive hiking. When searching for a geocache with CRIS, we will give you a GPS and put you in the driver seat of the hike – we will go wherever you think we need to go to find the cache!

We have the people, we have the TrailRider and we have the GPS – all we need is you. CRIS has some suggestions as to good caches to hunt for, but of course we’re game to check out a cache of your choice.

In order to find out what caches are near you call us at 250-979-3941 and we can give you access to our geocaching account. Or you may want to set up your own account at the geocaching webpage. Either way, once you are logged onto the geocaching webpage it is a simple matter of clicking the “Hide and Seek a Cache” tab on the left hand side of the webpage, and then inputting your postal code in order to find out what caches are hidden near you.

If you don’t want to go through that whole process, call us anyway and tell us that you are interested in doing a geocache hike. We’ll pick a fun cache and help you find it!
