Hey all! Hope everyone had an absolutely delightful week! I know I did. Well how about this weather eh??? It’s absolutely balmy out there #seemslikethepolarbeardipmightbewarmerthanexpected!!! Just so all of you are aware the office will be closed from December 22- January 12th for winter closure. Dawn and I have decided that we are going to take a little break and indulge in some Holiday baking…#lookoutscaleshereIcome. Although we would like to take all that time to reinvest in our winter layers (#putonsomefestivepounds) we will be spending the week of January 5th doing strategic planning to ensure a great year for everyone. Although the office will be closed you can be assured that we’ll have our noses to the grindstone.grindstone-nose#grindingnoses

Yo friends! Hope everyone had a lovely week. Well at least it is a bit warmer out there. Just a reminder to everyone that with this cold weather it is extremely important to dress for the weather when you are out and about. Below is a helpful little picture of how to layer for the cold….#layeringiskey. Now when I follow this diagram I try to put on male clothing…I guess what I am saying is this is a guide. That being said…I made the mistake last year so I can’t blame you if you make the same mistakes as I did….#oops #sopretty. If you are ever attending a winter program and are missing a piece of clothing please let me know beforehand so I can ensure to bring something along for you! Other than that let’s have a spectacular winter and enjoy the weather!!!How to Dress for Winter with CorrectionsVolunteers:For any volunteers who are interested, we will be holding a winter program training session and cross-country skiing clinic on December 18th and 19th. Hey all! Hope everyone has had a great last couple of weeks! Sorry there haven’t been any emails recently, but I was out of town learning how to be a better employee. Troy has had concerns with my abilities for quite sometime now and he finally decided to get me some training…#learning. Just joking… he thinks I’m perfect the way I am :)…boy is he off base eh? hahah. Over the last week and a half Troy and I were at a conference and some meetings in Calgary and Montreal! All of which are leading to some extremely positive changes for CRIS in the future… stay posted team #lookingahead. For those of you who haven’t already seen, we published a video last week showcasing some of the amazing things we provide and offer. Check it out at our Facebook page! Click here to view the video!
