Community Day Programs

June 20 Gray Canal TrailCommunity Day Programs provide day and evening excursions that run throughout the Okanagan region of beautiful British Columbia. Community Day Programs are specifically designed to enable all people regardless of disability to enjoy the benefits of outdoor recreation. These programs include cycling, hiking, and kayaking for the spring and summer. As for the winter programs consist of Sherpa hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.  All of our programs vary in location and suit a variety of interests. Whether it is an informative hike that you seek or a huge water fight out on the water, Community Day Programs provide an experience for all to enjoy. These programs usually start at both 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. These trips are typically 2 hours long and time-based programs.

The majority of Community Day Programs occur during the week but we also provide some trips on the weekends. Evening trips are offered intermittently depending on interest and availability. These trips typically begin at 6:00 p.m. The locations of all these activities vary on a weekly basis, providing refreshing variations in settings and landscapes. We encourage everyone and anyone to come and join us on our Community Day Programs. Family members, care givers, and friends are more than welcome to join us on outings, just let us know that you will be attending.
